Latest News

This week the Mid Norfolk Gundog Club had a presence at the Royal Norfolk Show with the club stand as well the gundog demonstration team. We were really pleased to welcome new handlers and dogs onto the team this year. Especially the two youngest handlers, who did a fantastic job opening the demonstration with their young labradors. Overall it was a huge success despite the heat, well done to everyone involved. We also want to thank everyone that helped with the club stand, including the set up and pack down, many hands make light work!

We're now looking forward to the Puppy/Novice Working Test next weekend, the running order has now been posted in the members area under working tests. Any queries please contact Colin.

Hi everyone, we hope you have been enjoying the summer training evenings this year!

As you may already know, in return for using the ground at Blackwater Farm we are asked to provide helpers for their equestrian events. This is a small price to pay for the opportunity to use the fantastic training grounds throughout the summer months.

Therefore, the Mid Norfolk Gundog Club kindly asks if anyone is available to jump judge at Blackwater Farm on any of the following dates:

- Sunday 23rd of June

- Sunday 21st of July

- Sunday 18th of August

- Sunday 15th of September

- Sunday 13th of October

If anyone is able to help on one of these dates, or would like more information on what is required, please contact Tracey Fox. Or come and speak to one of the committee members at training.

Please note, no experience or expertise needed. Lunch is provided.

We are pleased to announce that the Mid-Norfolk Gundog Club are holding a Puppy/Novice GWT on the 6th of July 2024. The schedule and entry form are available in the members area of the website under the 'Gundog Working Tests' tab. This GWT is open to members only, if you wish to become a member please download and fill out a membership form or contact our membership secretary Tracey Fox.
