Mid Norfolk Gundog Club held their 2 Day Open AV Retriever Field Trial on 28th and 29th November 2022 at Saham Farm Estate, by Kind Invitation of Mr Kevin and Mrs Beverley Bowes. The Club is extremely grateful to our hosts and club President for the generosity and hospitality they give the club at this 2 Day Open field trial.
Our judges for the two days were Godfrey Lowe, Steve Polley, Mike Jennings and Peter Abbs. We are grateful to them for giving their time to support the club and judging over the two days.
Our Steward of the Beat was Matthew Tigue and the epic team of cracking shot guns led by Head Keeper Andrew Taylor-Balls were Will Owen, Simon Owen, Graham Russell, David Bales, Richard Beckerleg and Keith Golden. Gentlemen - as always, we were all very impressed and a few shots almost getting rounds of applause from the gallery!
A big thank you to all the helpers on the days: game carriers - Tom Smart, Ray Allgood, Mark Evans, David Wall, Mike Ziphel, Roger Bannock; radio contacts - Pam Wimmer, Denise Avery; picking up was Richard Woolf.
